Using StoryMaps to connect the Amazon to your classroom!
October 6 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Are you wondering how (and perhaps why) to use ArcGIS StoryMaps in your teaching? With no need for special equipment or software, you and your students can combine interactive maps, multimedia, user-generated data, and text to create spatially oriented digital stories. With the Morpho Institute’s site license, your students can use existing StoryMaps and/or create and publish their own. Featuring GIS education expert Anita Palmer and Morpho alumna Carly Imhoff, this webinar will provide an introductory overview and time to brainstorm ways in which StoryMapping can build students’ connections to the Amazon and among classes in the U.S.
